The Sickles Theatre Program envisions bringing the enchanting art of Drama and performance to the minds of Sickles Highschool students. Our goal is to inspire, bring those of like minds together to add their own touch and authenticity to the favorite shows around the world.

Our community welcomes all, no matter what Ethnicity, Gender, Grade, Appearance, and anything else that makes you unique! We encourage an environment of acceptance and collaboration. Encouraging the people of Sickles to work with similar and different viewpoints as well as discover their strengths and weaknesses

Our Achievements

The Sickles Theatre Program produces two major shows per year - a Fall Full-Length Play and a Spring Musical.  In addition, we compete at District-9 Thespys & One Act Festivals, one night Spring Showcase as well as the Florida Thespian State Festival.  Sickles Theatre has a history of excellence and achievement in both acting and technical theatre to include our most recent recognition including three 2023 Broadway Star of the Future selectees and six Excellents, one Superior and a Top Honors at the 2024 District Thespy Festival.

Sickles Theatre produces plays and musicals for the Tampa/Citrus Park/Carrollwood area.  Our thespians participate in One Act Play & Individual Event Festivals and serve the community with various outreach and service events each year.  Courses in our program include Acting 1, Acting 2, Theatre 3 (H), Theatre 4 (H), and Technical Theatre Design and Production 1 & 2.
