After retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps, Coach Jones got into substitute teaching and became the Sickles Boys JV Basketball Head Coach. At the end of the 2021-2022 school year, he was asked to fill a temporary vacancy as an English teacher at Hill Middle School for the 2022-2023 school year. He then started the 2023-2024 as a long-term sub for the Sickles Theatre Program and got hooked. Now entering his third year, he is adding new challenges to see what his students can accomplish on and off stage in 2025-2026 and beyond.

Jackie is a junior at Sickles High School and has appeared in three full-length high school productions - Mean Girls in April 2024, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in December 2024, and The Addams Family in May 2025. In addition to her roles in these major productions, Jackie was also Mean Girl’s Director of Choreography, and she competed at the D-9 Thespy Festival in October 2024.
